About

Liza Domingues is a Brazilian artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work investigates how form, color, and material shape our experience of space and perception. With a background in Industrial Design and Visual Communication, she creates works that invite movement and reveal themselves through shifts in perspective.

Her practice spans both painted and dimensional constructions, using abstract forms to explore perception, memory, emotion, and material play. In her current series, Unstable Geometry, she examines the fragility of perception and logic. Painted surfaces merge with sculptural form to create wall pieces that appear composed from the front but fracture as the viewer moves—reflecting how even the most rational structures can distort depending on where we stand.
